Meet the designer

Fatih Babacan brings more than 30 years of experience in calligraphy, typography and font development. His fonts have been used in print, on websites and in mobile applications. His background as a technical high school teacher informs a precise, practical approach to type. Accredited by Turkey’s Ministry of National Education to teach Ottoman Turkish, he taught teachers and the public through government-organized courses and seminars. His guiding principle: preserve clarity without losing the character of the script.
